FAQ

  • What are your drop-off and pick-up procedures?
I ask families to please enter my loop driveway at the white lamp post marked #157. This will keep the cars all going in the same direction. You will enter the driveway and turn RIGHT. Please pull into the gravel, loop driveway and let your child get out on the LEFT side of the car, closest to my house. Please do this in the middle of the loop rather than way up towards the end of the driveway, UNLESS you have parked and are getting out to walk your child to the door. You are more than welcome to come say "HI" at the first drop off, or other times, but if you are doing this I ask that you pull up as far as you can and pull over to the RIGHT to park in order to allow others to pass. Please DO NOT pull around another car in the carline but instead wait until those in front of you are parked or leaving. This is for safety reasons. Please also try to stay in the "gravel" driveway as the mud and snow make my yard so soft that it is better not to drive on the "grassy" parts. If your child is in the K/1 class, please make a point of walking your child to and from the door each time as I want them to have an adult with them. I really appreciate this. Thank you!! In bad weather, I ask the kids to leave their boots/shoes inside near the door. I prefer they do not bring water bottles as these clutter up the tables and floor space, and if they need a drink, they can just ask me and I will give them a cup of water. Also, please remind your child that the deck may be slippery and that they should be WALKING across it, not running or jumping. At pick up, unless you are a parent of a K/1 child, you may remain in your car, ESPECIALLY in bad weather, but please TEXT my cell phone (508-740-0750), with your child's name, and I will send them out to you. In the winter, when it is dark, this is really helpful. When you see my house, you will see that this is safe to do as there is no road near them. They are crossing my yard. But OF COURSE, if you would like to come to the door, feel free.
  • What time is the class?
Class is held from 3:45-5:00. If you happen to arrive early, please have your child wait in the car with you until just before 3:45. I am often still getting the classroom ready until that time. Please be prompt when picking up your child. Thank you!!
  • What is your refund policy?
You may choose to withdraw from the class for a full refund two weeks in advance of the start of the class. After that, your payment is non-refundable unless I choose to cancel the class due to low enrollment. If I cancel the class due to weather or family illness, I will offer to reimburse you or you may receive a credit for a future class. There are no refunds for missed classes.
  • Where are you located?
The class is held at my in-home studio at 157 Harding Street in Medfield, MA. When looking at my house, you/your child will come to the RIGHT side of the house where you will see a low deck and enter the studio through sliding glass doors.
  • If a new session has already started can my child join the class?
If there is space in the class, your child is welcome to start at any time. I will pro-rate the class in this case.
